The IH Cub Cadet model 123 began production starting in June, 1966 starting with serial number 157490 and ended with 218009 as the serial number, respectably. It was a very much improved line up from the IH Cub Cadet 70/100 series garden tractors in many ways. The IH Cub Cadet 71 was the direct replacement of the model 70.
This is my 1966 Cub Cadet 71. I got this one about a year ago for $250.It needed some new parts but it all set and runs fine now.
